Majority of the drivers in this field aren’t up to the pace of the pros. Lots of complaints pre-race that at least half are outside of the top second spread wrt lap times (something like 4 seconds). The AMs usually start the first stint.

Edit: had a look at the live timing, they’re not too far off atm. Maybe just cold ambients and no grip which has also been an issue.

Oh gotcha. I thought AMs would come in stint 2 or 3, seems weird to send them out when you don't have much data or field spread

Earbuds for radio help a lot. I’m lead to believe class 1 cars are louder because the exhaust is routed under the passenger seat.

I remembered I had an old laptop stashed in a closet and an extra HDMI cable so I’m set for now, but I appreciate it! It would’ve been nice if they had let us know in advance that the Xbox app would be blocked.

My old lady came upstairs to listen with me.
